KINGSTON, N.Y. (May 28, 2024) — The 2024 HealthAlliance Hospital Honors event was held this month at Diamond Mills in Saugerties. More than 200 people attended the event, with proceeds from this year’s Gala supporting trauma care and behavioral health services at HealthAlliance Hospital.
The event honored physician exemplar Walter E. Woodley, MD, community champion Jane Struzzieri, and the Behavioral Health Emergency Department Team at HealthAlliance Hospital.
Josh Ratner, Chief Executive Officer of HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley along with Chief Medical Officer Michael Doyle, MD, spoke at the Gala event, which was emceed by HealthAlliance Foundation Board member and longtime supporter of HealthAlliance Hospital Marisa Perez.
Logan Atchinson also spoke about their firsthand experience with behavioral health emergency services and the profound impact it had on their life. Princess George, Nursing Director of Emergency and Critical Care Services and Rebecca Cohen, Network Director for Crisis Care and Patient Placement, accepted the award on behalf of the Behavioral Health Emergency Department Team.
